26th of June 2007: The Foundation Sophia Antipolis co-organised at the CCI of Paris, in liaison with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, AFAST, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Paris and the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie a conference on the theme of

The capital finance of innovative companies, Franco-German exchanges and European perspectives

The theme of the conference is the putting in disposition of venture capital for young businesses with high growth in Germany and in France. We will deal with the beginning phase and the growth phase. The comparison of venture capital markets and the way that the main venture capitalists work in the two countries will be completed by the presentation of the juridical and fiscal situations. XMP business angels regroups investors (business-Angels), members of capital fund investment, individuals and economic and political institution representatives, all determined to commit to the support of entrepreneurs.

These business angels are originally from 3 big schools: Polytechnique, Mines et ponts. XMP Business Angels addresses itself to investors, corporate managers and members of the network and offers them, via a selection committee, the possibility to invest in capital of innovative companies. As well as their finance, these investors bring their knowledge of the business world and their institutional and political mastery.

XMP Business Angels was created by François CHERRUAU (X 61) in 2004 (1) and is also president of a SME of industrial service, “Operendi”, redeemed by a large industrial company.
