Until 7th April 2008: “Employment Marketing” Action
The ANPE (National Job Agency) of Grasse has entrusted Sophia Antipolis Foundation with the pursuit of 8 projects, for a period of 3 months with the objective of a return to full employment before the first semester of 2008.

This “Employment Marketing” scheme should put all the necessary conditions in place to facilitate professional inclusion of those looking for work. Participants will be actively involved in their job search through a marketing process involving active prospecting of businesses.
The objective of this scheme is to bring them out of segregation, in developing contact with businesses via a direct approach, encouraging them to take charge, regain confidence in themselves by giving them the psychological and technical means to succeed, to organise “marketing actions” set up in a personalised individual action plan which will allow participants to develop and make themselves known to quickly enter into relation with businesses for quick professional inclusion.

10th to 11th April 2008: Beijing – Franco-Chinese cluster meeting on Innovation & Cooperation
Franco-Chinese Meetings for Innovation & Cooperation, over two days of business meetings with French Poles of Competitivity and Chinese Clusters (SMEs, Research Centres, and Capital Risk companies), are organised in the framework of the agreement signed between the French Republic Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment and the People’s Republic of China Ministry of Science and Technology on cooperation between French clusters and Chinese High-Tech Parks. This also follows the partnership agreement reached between Sophia Antipolis Foundation and the Zhongguancun (Z-Park) science park. It is being organised in Beijing, 10th and 11th April 2008.

The objective of these meetings – supported by the French Embassy in Beijing Scientific Service and the DGE – is to facilitate the organisation of strategic cooperation between French and Chinese entities. They will be the opportunity to meet with big universities, research organisations, the economic world (Big businesses and SMEs), and Chinese government organisations. As per the requests of various French entities, Chinese partners will be identified, chosen and proposed, without expense, by Z-Park, partner of Sophia Antipolis Foundation and the number one Chinese science park (www.zhongguancun.com.cn/en). Equally, other Chinese science parks will be mobilised in identifying other potential partners.

These meetings are particularly addressed to the French delegation:
o Innovating cluster member technology SMEs
o Research Centres, Universities and French Training Centres
o Capital Risk Companies

Three concerned sectors:
o Information and Communication Technologies
o Clean Energies, the Environment, and Sustainable Development
o Biotechnologies, Biomedicine, and Medical Equipment

These meetings (please see the advance programme) will take place in Beijing. Expenses will not be covered, and are therefore up to your organisation to cover. However, our partner Z-Park has been able to negotiate reduced rates for accommodation. (www.jadepalace.com.cn)
