5th May 2008: 4th FEMIP – TUNISIA Conference. Tunisia, “Microfinance in the Mediterranean: What is its impact?”
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Sanabel, the network of microfinance institutions in Arabic countries, come together to organise the 4th FEMIP conference.
The FEMIP Conference will take place the 5th May 2008 and will precede the 5th Annual Sanabel Conference which will take place from 6th to 8th May 2008. This conference will reunite almost 300 high level participants coming from 37 partner Euromediterranean countries: political decision makers, microfinance institution and civil society organisation representatives, researchers and academic experts; representatives from the private and banking sectors; they will share their points of view and experiences with first plan orators on the following subjects:
· Methods and indicators allowing to measure the impact of microfinance,
· The professionnalisation of micro finance,
· The link between microfinance and migrant fund transfers,
