Broadcasting
of the scientific
and technical culture
The
world is becoming more and more
complex. Topics linked to bioethics,
climate changes, industrial risk
management, politics (terrorism)
and nature ( green house effect,
fires) need to be clarified by using
world wide skills that are well
identified. Today, this needs to
be reinforced. The Cote d’Azur
and Sophia-Antipolis can become
a place where the worries of the
people are taken into account and
analysed for the benefit of the
industrial and political decision
makers. From this optic, the Foundation
Sophia-Antipolis organises, since
a few years ago, big international
symposiums on subjects that are
seen as significant progress in
the general reflection.
