PARTNERSHIPS WITH THE ACADEMIC WORLD

One of the Foundation Sophia Antipolis’s objectives is to promote the creation a new entrepreneurial culture and to notably incite entrepreneurialship. For this reason the Foundation has created a link between the academic world and the business world via different actions in order to create direct communication between these two communities and to promote professional integration of students.

HOSTING CONVENTION OF WORK PLACEMENT STUDENTS
The Foundation Sophia Antipolis forms partnerships with both the public and private sectors in order to multiply their activities on the International scene. The Foundation
has elaborated a hosting and accompaniment programme for work placement students…

Under the framework of this hosting programme, the Foundation Sophia Antipolis benefits the students with their expertise and their scientific and cultural networks. The Foundation Sophia Antipolis also carries out a personalised follow up of the placement, assigning the student with a tutor form the Foundation Sophia Antipolis.

SUPPORT FOR THE RELAY CLASSES

SUPPORT FOR THE RELAY CLASSES

This programme, which is lead by the Rostagne d’Antibes College, unites 16 school establishments from the academy of Nice. These classes are made up of young people that have academic difficulty or who are in conflict with adults. The programme consists of working with these people in order to try and improve their personal and family situations to allow them to reinvest in the school learning patterns and to give them a direction through their personal training project.
This passage through the relay classes, aims through these activities to put them back into a series of projects. Thanks to the support of the Foundation Sophia Antipolis, the students and their teachers have been received by the CSTB, “Centre scientifique et technique du bâtiment”, by ALTEDIA, “advice and management of human resource group”. The next visit is planned to be at the “ Institut non linéaire de Nice”, and the l’IMPC “Institute of molecular and cellular pharmacology of Sophia Antipolis”. The students have produced filmed documentaries with the support of the Foundation Sophia Antipolis who put their audiovisual centre at their disposal.
