meetings of which the aim is to

BREAKFAST DEDICATED TO THE COMPETITIVENESS
CLUSTER ORPHEME
The
Orpheme cluster encompasses the
regions of Provence-Alpes Côtes
d'Azur, and Languedoc Roussillon.
The cluster is specialised in emerging
diseases, tropical and infectious
diseases, and neurological diseases,
notably those linked to ageing.
Their objective : to put industrialists,
doctors, researchers, and academics
in contact with each other via common
projects in order to accelerate
the transfer of fundamental research
towards clinical and treatment research,
and to enlarge the industrialist
community concerned with the expectations
of the cluster.
Figures : 160 companies, 10 000
direct employees, 6 000 researchers,
engineers and technicians, and 39000
life science students.
In order to present the pole and
its different projects the Foundation
Sophia-Antipolis organised a breakfast
bringing together more that 70 participants.

NAVIGATION AND LOACLISATION VIA
SATELLITE ULISS
The
minister of economy, finance and
industry launched an appeal to projects
“ULISS” , Utilisation
as a Lever of Innovation of Satellite
Signals destined to support the
innovative projects of using satellite
signals for localisation, navigation
and dating.
In order to provide the most information
for this project appeal , the Foundation
Sophia-Antipolis and the Team Cote
d’Azur organised an informative
breakfast morning in the presence
of Marc Moreau, chief of the security
and multimedia office, at the head
of economic, financial and industrial
ministry companies.

the different areas of activities
of the technological, information
and communication cluster, El Gazala
(Tunisia). Mustapha Mezghani, manager
of the stall “Tunisia”
at the SMSI, the worldwide summit
of the information society, and
the director of 2CW described the
issues of this event for the private
sector and the tunisien industrialists
of the TIC, and suggested to companies,
research centres, universities and
the people involved in training
in Sophia-Antipolis to be there
or to be represented at this manifestation
