Platform for Trans-National Cooperation: Towards a mutualisation
of competences |
| |
Considering
that there are numerous actions and services dedicated to
businesses, already well established by several organisations,
Fondation Sophia Antipolis brought together on Friday 18th
January 2008, several of its international partners in order
to reflect on the creation of a utility allowing entrepreneurs
and researchers to meet potential partners, investors, aiming
to develop and secure their project on an international
level.
This desire to create a Trans-National service platform
has sparked interest from participants, convinced of the
need to ally in order to offer more pertinent services.
Discussions touched on the means of implementing this programme,
its financing, and its public aims and tools to develop.
Partners present included:
Bauman University (Russia), “Information Technology
Industry Development Agency” (Egypt), “VDI/VDE
Innovation + Technik GmbH” (Germany), Economic Office
Namur Province (Belgium), “YTKO” (UK), Bavarian
Arts, Science and Research Ministry (Germany), “Hellenic
Technology Clusters Initiative” (Greece) and Fez University
(Morocco).

“Job
Marketing” Action from 21st December 2007 to 7th April
2008 |
| |
The
ANPE (National Job Agency) of Grasse has entrusted the Fondation
Sophia Antipolis with a 3 month task of aiding the 8 frameworks
designed to return to full employment before the first semester
of 2008.
This
“Job Marketing” programme should put all the
necessary conditions in place to help research professionals
find work. Participants will oversee their own search for
work via a marketing exercise using active company prospection.
The objective of this scheme is to take professionals out
of isolation, in putting them in contact with businesses
through a direct approach, to encourage them to take charge,
re-find their confidence by giving them the psychological
and technical means to succeed, “to organise marketing
actions” designed as an individual action plan which
will allow participants to benefit from it, to become aware
and quickly get in contact with businesses for successful
job finding.
