Telework
and telecentres in the PACA
region
The
Foundation Sophia Antipolis
has been engaged for several
years now in a programme
to develop telework and
establish telecentres in
the PACA region. The Foundation
Sophia Antipolis has created
a steering committee bringing
together both public and
private partners. The aim
of this committee is to
identify issues and dynamics
and to analyse their effects
upon employment, training,
and qualifications. The
Foundation Sophia Antipolis
is involved in all stages
of the steering committee
of a project in the interest
of the local community or
companies who wish to invest
in a given subject. The
communes of Châteauneuf,
Lucéram, Puget-Théniers,
Baudinardsur- Verdon (Parc
du Verdon) followed by la
Colle-sur-Loup and St Cézaire
are partners of the steering
committee. In order to better
respond to the general problematic,
important partners such
as EDF, France Telecom and
the AFPA, as well as “
la Communauté d'Agglomération
Sophia Antipolis “
(Community of the Agglomeration
of Sophia Antipolis- CASA),
and “la Communauté
d'Agglomération de
la Riviera Française”
(Community of the Agglomeration
of the French Riviera C.A.R.F)
invest alongside the Foundation
Sophia Antipolis.

– La Colle - Saint
Cézaire - study by
