The
Laws on cooperation between municipalities
have lead to the creation, since January
2002, of a new structure called Communauté
d’Agglomération Sophia Antipolis
(Agglomeration Community of Sophia Antipolis)
which groups together 16 communities around
a development plan
The
community Council, management organ, is
composed of 50 members: the President
is Jean Leonetti, Deputy Mayor of Antibes.
